The right had to deal with 8 years of liberal policies. You remember what the left was saying 8 years ago?

Now its the Republicans turn. I'd argue if the democrats had done a better job the last 8 years things would be different today. So now conservatives get to say today the same thing liberals did 8 years ago:

We won.
You lost.
Deal with it.

Obama is significantly to the right of the Nixon administration. Taxes are still rock bottom and welfare spending is too low. Furthermore, the Affordable Care Act is but a shadow of what it should be.

You haven't had a liberal government there.

This isn't about being liberal. Left, right, red, or blue it doesn't matter. I don't care about the Mexican wall or the other . I care about his plan to default on the national debt. This is a bad idea. You will see. I hope congress can prevent this.

So when do you leave? What's your love affair about with infinite Fed Debt? Would you like to have a negative interest rate saving account or some austerity on your Federal Forms?

Not sure when it happened, but somewhere down the line, the party philosophies got all topsy turvy. One used to be the "feel good" party that wanted to hand out food stamps and puppies to everybody, and the other was the "pragmatism party" that was against puppies for everyone because it was an unnecessary expense that provided no return.

Now, we have a feelers party and a party that is apparently oo because it believes things like "scientific consensus".

My beef isn't in the results of the Democratic process, my concern is that people that believe in anti-intellectualism and isolationism (in today's Internet world) somehow became the majority.

In the UK, there are people who say that they want to go on the European continent or elsewhere. And now in the United States, there are people who say that they want to go to Canada. I do not think that it will be a mass migration. Only a few wealthy individuals or others who have no links. The majority love their country

We're not particularly good at listening to each other in this country, which I'm sure is a root of some of the problems.

It's possible to accept the results of democracy and still be unhappy about them. It's also perfectly normal to want to express that unhappiness.

I agree, but if this opinion has been expressed declaring that the legally voted president is not "their" president, street violence, and calls for revolution of some sort, then it's a whole different matter.

During those 8 years a lot of nonsense was hurled at the Bamster, being the Bolshevik Muslim Terrorist Tyrant without a backbone he is, and the republicans have been spouting hyperbolic ballcock about America being destroyed and Death Panels and Birth Certificates and on and on and on.

Now it's the Democrat's turn.

You won.
They get to spout for at least 4 years

There are better ways to solve the debt problem, then defaulting on it. It was a good idea our country would have done it years ago. Time will tell. I have nothing more to say. And also the whole leaving part is a joke, I really don't own and Eagle.
