I am really digging the new Huayangosaurus size in JWE2

With the Huayangosaurus being showcased in the deluxe edition pack, I can't help but notice how tiny she looks on the grass. The camera is close to the ground and the dinosaur has her belly touching the grass, she looks to be about half of her size in JWE1!

This is super adorable and exciting! As not only is the new size complimenting her realistic size (and making her look cuter), but it also covers a lacking niche of tiny quadruped herbivores, where the smallest was the Nodosaurus in JWE1.

Seeing the new size, and how the Chasmosaurus looks to have been shrunken down as well. A lot of the oversized herbivores in JWE could have shrunken down in JWE2..

Imagine what the Chritonsaurus would be like if the same resize applied to her .

Does look a bit smaller, doesn't it? Hopefully it's not just an optical illusion or anything; a lot of animals in JWE were definitely too big.

Yeah - it bugged me that JWE often had dinosaurs which should have been 4-5 meters long often in the 6-7 meter range.

I looks like they have fixed that issue.

Since when the Huayangosaurus is so small? Back in the days of the DInosaur! Magazine it was still bigger than Kentrosaurus? I must confess I never really cared that much for Huayangosaurus, so I didn't followed new findings and what not.

Hopefully this means that other oversized dinosaurs like Chasmosaurus and Sinoceratops will get their sizes adjusted, too. Unfortunately it seems that the theropods will still be oversized, Allosaurus is still too big and the Carnotaurus now seems to be the exact same size as Allosaurus.

I’m not sure it’s been resized. I think instead the default grass in JWE2 is longer and not mowed lawn height like it was in JWE1. It’d be cool to get more size diversity among stegos and ceratopsians though.

I wouldn't celebrate just yet, It's likely taller grass in this new biome.

In general though, size differentiation is easier than it was before, so I'd expect most of them to change to some degree.

Oh how I hope this is not the case... it was already tough enough tracking the smaller animals through the grass in JWE... if they made the grass taller... that's gonna make things much harder.

What he said. I doubt they made the default grass longer because it would make the small dinosaurs nearly impossible to see.
