Greetings all CMDR's!
I am still quite new to ED, but not the game series, as I have played them all!
So far I have noticed something that I would like to add:
1. "I am sorry I shot You"-button. Just to tell other players or NPC's, that You by accident shot them in a confusing fight with others? Just to avoid being a pirate, when You are not, and avoid "Wanted" status, just for a sad mishap? Maybe the "I am sorry button" could retract Your guns, to show "goodwill"?
2. It would be so cool, if You could exit Your ship in space, to fix it with a handheld welding laser? This is of cause a MAJOR change, but imagine to fly around in a space suit (we are in space, so suits should be common, really), using lifeline and air boosters to manoeuvre around to fix a ship that is on the verge to break down totally? Just enough to get to a station. Fix a air leak, with having extra windscreen with You? Or as in "Frontier II" have an escape pod?
(and when in space, there could be danger to be picked up by other ship, and sold as a slave!!!???)
3. To actually leave Your ship while docked, and go to a bar? Sit down with others and be able to chat, and buy them food/drinks? Just to increase the social status, and not have to look over Your shoulder in space all the time when You want to text-chat with someone. Maybe have to pay for Your drinks.... Play on the jukebox? Play cards, chess or read a newspaper? Playing poker with betting Your hard earned credits, anyone?
4. If You suck at docking/leaving, or You are just drunk, be able to pay a little "fee" to the stations security, to increase their "tolerance" if You bump into things/stay to long in the exit gate?
5. Wormholes? Have anyone seen them? Should we have them? Should we be able to jump 600 LY if we find one? (ahh, those classic wormholes from Frontier!)
6. Ban me from the forums for being to "wild" in my suggestions? Or if I accidently ask for something that someone else have?
