Liqua PM'd me regarding a post I made a while ago and quickly deleted. It was regarding his generosity, and people declaring that.
While I know PM's should stay private, I want people to understand how I feel about the issue of people being generous. I feel it is important I show you all my reply to Liqua ...

1. I regret you felt it necessary to tell people to keep quiet, that is one of the reasons I delete posts, because after typing it all out, I realise that it's probably best if I don't say something.

2. While you are free to be generous, and others free to accept your generousity, yes sometimes people announcing it can seem a bit "rubbing your nose in it", and I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it even slightly insulting.

3. I can hardly be one to complain about someone either being generous or accepting someone's generosity as I have on two occasions now accepted Psykokow's generosity and that was what I remembered when I deleted the post you mentioned. The last thing I wanted was to seem (to Psykokow at least) I was ungrateful or two-faced.

4. Am I jealous? It might be an element of that, I hope it isn't. If I am jealous even slightly, I am trying to not show it, and if I do see it in myself I am trying to not be that way. I don't say no to someone else's generosity, but I don't ask for it either.

5. The last thing I want is to upset anyone, no matter what. Please tell the people you told to keep quiet to not have to. Please continue to be generous. I don't want you or anyone to have to walk on eggshells because of me.

This is not open to debate. This is just my way of apologising in case I did upset anyone.
Moderators, feel free to lock this thread, but please leave it here for everyone to see.

A bit of unnecessary drama here Alien, you should have just kept it private and between the both of you. Washing your draws in public never goes down well. :p

Maybe, but this way 1. I apologise to anyone I may have offended and 2. I get how I feel out in the open so no-one gets the wrong idea about me.
