CQC I am such a dufus

So in cqc I always thought fire group 1 was guns and 2 your SCB/chaff or what ever.
For my last few sessions as I unlock new stuff I have been experimenting with fixed cannons .
My KD ratio has taken a hit but I stubbornly stuck with it.

I use VA for SCB and chaff.

Yesterday I noticed by chance each of my cannons are set to a differed fire button. For the last 3 game sessions at least I have been playing with one gun.

No wonder I have been doing so bad.

I am now 3 kills off getting back to positive kd ratio (which I know is nothing compared to the pros here but it is my yardstick for now)

My point is. Make sure you are using both guns in cqc
