Sounds very intense. Is this in preparation for the aliens that are coming? (in winter, apparently)

One of the things that really hasn't gotten quite the love it deserves has been the minor factions. Hopefully videos like this will encourage more 'lone wolf' Commanders to consider checking out some of the minor factions and get involved.

I really loved the most recent 'Educating Ed' video where the guests of the week "AEDC" and "ESS" talked about how Minor Factions and manipulating the BGS all come together to provide the content that so many critics claim Elite: Dangerous lacks.

I'm on my way back from Beagle Point but have spent some time listening on the Earth Defense Fleet's Teamspeak where a new member of EDF was getting some help and good advice. This guy has owned Elite: Dangerous for a while but gave it up in frustration. Like so many people he just didn't know where to begin. Adopting a Minor Faction earlier could have really helped this guy out. Now he's back and this time he has the help of some patient mentors willing to talk him through some of the basic and more advanced game mechanics. I have no doubt that he'll be contributing to the group dynamic in no time.

I'd really like to see Frontier do more for the Minor Factions. Maybe spur the community on toward releasing more videos like this one so that new players can see what the ethos of each of the Minor Factions is and find out where to go if they'd like to join. The community has had a few video contests in the past, how about one for Minor Faction promos?

The empire has forsaken earth and the values that earth represents. Give up your slave trade and you may earn the right to visit Sol again. Slavery in any form is a abomination to all of humanity.

Earth is a Galactic Heritage site. We should all be concerned with protecting her from harm. That said: Sol is the capitol of the Federation. Earth is NOT the PROPERTY of the Federation. Its quite the opposite: The Federation is the extension of Earth and Earth's values across the galaxy.

The Empire severed itself for Earth when the colonists of Achernar committed genocide against the indigenous sentient species that once inhabited Capital. They further estranged themselves by institutionalizing the barbaric practice of slavery ... a practice that numerous sources confirm to not be the happily ever after safety net that the Empire claims it to be. Numerous accounts of Imperial Slaves suffering, starving and dying exist, you just have to be willing to remove you Achernar colored glasses to see them.
