Horizons I am unable to order the expansion, please take my money !

So I bought Elite Dangerous a while back through Steam, and registered it to my Frontier Account. It shows the game as "Owned". Whenever I try to "order" Horizons, I get a message , "The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1."

Whilst it's weird that I can only buy ONE expansion anyway, it's even weirder it's telling me this when I haven't yet successfully ordered one. I'm not showing any orders on my account or any items in my cart. It simply won't let me progress to whatever stage is after clicking on "Buy Now"

Is the Store broken or do you simply not want my money.

When I bought the expansion the website was so busy it added 9 copies to my cart and several were more than one copy per purchase. It said I could only order one. Make sure the clear everything out and start over. I didn't even see the number in my cart until I tried an hour later. It just kept adding them when I clicked.
 
Yeah I tried last night and it was a lag fest, I probably also clicked too many times. I've checked though, my cart says (0) and is indeed empty.
 
If you launch the ED through Steam, you won't see Horizons until they're out on Steam, too.

You can, however, download the standalone launcher from your downloadable products in your account on Frontier page. You should be able to install Horizons from there if you own them. (That is if the order came through, as it should if the page tells you that you own i already.)
 
I can launch Elite Dangerous (currently the only part I own) through Steam, or though the new Launcher i downloaded from Frontier. Technically I have the game installed twice, which I can fix later. My issue is I simply cannot buy the expansion, Horizons, through Frontier's online store.

I do notice now that Horizon is available to buy through Steam, and I guess this is now my only option to enable me to get the expansion.

Also, it may be a good idea, if you tried to buy the thing several times, to get in touch with support and let them check whether you bought it or not and why it did what it did.
 
Yeah I made a Ticket with Frontier about the issue. I plainly didn't buy it multiple times already though, as I never got past clicking on "Order" and onto a payment screen. My account details show no transactions beyond my original Elite purchase in April
