Not sure if anyone has done this, but it looks darn awesome!

Look over your left shoulder at the Elite Dangerous Badge on your upper arm! Its actually a proper badge that sticks out slightly from the fabric! It's best to view this when facing the sun for optimum lighting! The badge also reflects light!!

I get the biggest kick out of the patch on the shoulder.
Every time I demo the DK2 and Elite to someone new I tell them about the patch and then watch them lift their arm in real life to get a better view.... obviously lifting the arm doesn't work, but that's usually the moment that they realize just how immersed they are.

Yeah I noticed this for the first time last night when I was leaving a star after fuel scooping. i wasn't sure was the lighting was on my suit at first. Then i saw the badges on each shoulder, looks good nice addition if it was added in the last update.
