I was rambling around on a planet collecting matts, when the ground started to get really uneven. so I decided to recall my ship, and move to a flatter area. after locating an area that was reasonably flat, my ship arrived and parked. approx 47mtrs above the surface.

has anyone boarded their ship from a greater distance of 47mtrs. I was also able transfer cargo from srv to my ships hold'

I've done this several times, granted it was a few months ago.

Uneven surface of the planet caused the ship to hover above ground. I found it a nice feature so I could return to my ship, rather than the ship landing 300 km away.

I suggested combat drops where the ship hovers and lets you descend the SRV on jump jets.

They didn't go for it. Yet.
