I can definitely see the inspiration the genie flat ride got
All the rides in the game are based on real rides - even the massive sun flare one! it's real! - That is one good thing I like about the game and what they have done. The in game Genie even looks better than the real one some how.
As for the path - I'm sure it's possible, not tried it though.... (hmm will go and try that now) - the reason I'm saying it's possible is because I've got a coaster going through it TWICE - on a loop.

OK, can't make the path go through the it, or even a different size queue. O, well - so here are some images of the loop I managed. Yes, I know it's not a nice great loop - I'm more pleased with the fact I got it through the hole - my playing around with the builder was early days at the time and I've never gone back to it to make it nicer. I'll have to go back and give it a go now I've looked at these images again... but as I said, I'm pleased that it was possible. The one thing I hated was the "dead zone" on the rotate track - I really wanted them to be 180' upside down over the ride. Oh well.
