I can't believe we are missing all these rides in PC2

I really want to see some of these rides return. Especially the Whip ride, Scrambler, Centrum, Blackout (space shuttle), Paratrooper, Flying Eagles, Rock-O-Plane, Troika, Breakdance, and Condor. I bet they return as paid DLC's. That's why I'm keeping PC1, as well as PC2. Both games feel incomplete in their own way. PC1 is missing working water slides and pools but PC2 all these flat rides. The only solution is if Frontier fixes PC2 further and releases these rides plus some new ones for PC2. There is a lot of stuff in PC1 missing in PC2 right now. Some PC1 rides are in the two ride DLC packs released so far. The spiral slide though is a new one that was in RCT 1-3. I don't mind paying $9.99 a few times just to get some of these awesome and classic rides in PC2 back. I want a Whip and working waterslides in the same game.

I want to echo this with hopes of these all or at least the most part making a comeback in future updates/DLCs. The Psychola in the third row, 1st ride, it has in that latest Thrill Rides DLC under a new name "Whirlpool". I won't know any time soon if it is as nice as the first game's version as I don't believe the asking price for just the 5 rides is worth it. I will be waiting for a sale on it (unless they decide to add another flat ride or two before then into the pack).

Im willing to bet these alongside many others will be released in future dlc. Maybe not right away given what they discussed on frontier unlocked recently but I'm sure they're comming

I am sure they will sell them back to us as DLC. It really feels bad having to rebuy stuff you already bought for 1 though.
That's exactly the same what EA is doing in "The Sims" series.
Not even a discount if you bought the same dlc in a previous version. Just sad...

The only thing we could do is not buying dlcs until we are satisfied with the status of the game. Then it's up to individual price perception if buying a dlc instantly or to wait for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd... sale.

I think we're getting to the idea that in Planet Coaster 3, all rides need to be in the base game leaving no options for DLC stuff which will just be a 3D modelling mission of 1000 scenery pieces each DLC because there is only scenery to add to the game and no infrastructure. What is it you want exactly? Because I am sure there would be plenty of dislikes for this idea. There has to be some rides in DLC's. And so some have to be missing right now. Believe whatever you want 😂

Honestly there's no planet Coaster 3 even being considered right now especially when planet coaster 2 is only just getting started

You say that. But according to project code names and data leaks. Planet Coaster 2 was in Dev when Planet Zoo Dev began or extremely shortly after. It's alread been announced that a completely new Planet game will be released for Christmas 2025. Planet Coaster 3 might already be on the drawing board. Also, the point is one of theory and ethics. What is it that people want. Do you want all the rides in the base game or decent DLC that isn't just scenery?

It is that simple, if you want every ride provided as standard then there is nothing but scenery coming in every single DLC.

PC3 could be years away if it even happens. Hopefully they support PC2 for a while with new content and not just dump it like PC1. They started from scratch with PC2, so nothing from 1 is compatible with 2 including rides. I thought there might be a way to copy ride files from 1 to 2 but that will probably not work. It just bums me out that a bunch of rides are missing and they will probably sell them back to us in slightly modified form in the future. And some people made fake rides on the workshop like the round up, scrambler, breakdance, etc. which PC1 has but they aren't functional for peeps. There's no way for users to make working custom rides in PC 1 or 2 like you could in RCT2, 3, and Parkitect.

Many people likely thought that PC2 would be a continuation of PC1, with performance improvements and the addition of the water features, and not a game pretty much starting completely over again. There was never really much effort to explain up front exactly what was included and what could be expected in the future, so it's understandable why some are disappointed. But since this IS more of a 'reboot' than a 'continuation' then additional ride types will likely be slowly included in DLC offerings and we shouldn't expect them all at once.

There's quite a few ride types that have never appeared in PC at all, so there likely would have been rides in DLC even if more of the PC1 rides had been included from the start in PC2. But that's not the direction they went.

I don't think that anybody was expecting to get all PC1 rides in PC2 from the beginning.
I don't know the release ride amounts (ride types, not blueprints) of PC1 and PC2, but it definitely feels like they have skipped an amount of rides just to sell them separately...

And even if all rides from PC1 would have been in PC2 at release, then there are a lot of rides (common to nearly every theme park plus many more) they could sell in dlcs.

(If anybody is asking for a TMTK in PC2... it would reduce the amount of possible scenery in dlcs to sell. It's just vice versa...)

Actually we don't know what's going on at Frontier and if they do have a roadmap for PC2. We have to wait and see what will happen in the next updates...

I bought PC1 when launched in 2016 + all the DLC since and still enjoy PC1 after playing almost 4000 hours because of all cool Thema, winter park, and numerous of nice mechatronics. I personally would have had no problem to keep all that I have already bought for PC1 and just buy a new DLC including pools, tobogans ( like Seaworld for RCT3) new features, and new engine to start and run the game smoother like the one for PC2 even if this DLC would had cost me more than an usual price for a DLC even up to 50 Euros. But that's life and I can't really complain after all these nice moments this game already given to me during these past height years it's worth the prices paid already . I just expecting that all the numerous of bugs people already pointed for PC2 will be fixed asap ( UI for staff and pass ways management, some graphics issues (peeps going true objects) , and possibility to switch off all the notifications at least for next update would be nice) .

If they are holding off on paid DLC's this year, then I hope they give us a few flat rides for free before spring as an apology for the paid DLC with 5 rides that they released. I have all the packs and rides they released so far because I don't want to be missing anything. Some of the rides in the Classic pack we had in PC1 in the beginning. I bought the deluxe version of PC2 with the 3 bonus rides plus the Classic pack with 10 rides and the Thrillseekers pack with 5 rides.

they could at least give a free dlc with rides from planco1 for players who have planco1 with all dlc's. that way enough people will still have to buy it and the loyal supporters get a goodie as a sign of appreciation. i think especially now after the game went on a 20% sale so shortly after release, i think this burned a lot of loyal supporters trust that bought day 1, this would be an action that frontier needs to do...

Yes, the sale is a slap into the faces of all pre-order and day one buyers...
Why? Because they knew that PC2 is half baked at that time.
The Steam refund policy (2 hours of gameplay or 14 days after purchase) is nice, but for this game it was to short to identify how bad the game is actually, within 2 hours. Update 1 was released a month later and was containing just a minimum amount of fixes compared to the amount of issues. Nobody knows when update 2 will be released and if it will adress more or less issues...

But the one thing that was possible to recognise (at release) was the full amount of rides and scenery. But it feels like they cut the number of a moderate rides amount to sell it as dlcs...

The three pre order bonus rides don't equal the disadvantage of the loyal customers.
Therefore it would be nice and an apology if they would give away a full dlc for free to all customers who bought the game before the sale at full price.

We appreciate adressing the release desaster at the unlocked stream, but the was no real apology.

i would not mind paying DLC but the game is so bugged i m not even considering it at that time
the first DLC was a bit pointless

I too was very disappointed in the lack of flat rides in the base game...they rather (in my opinion) waste time on obscure rides like that Natualus submarine thing I'll never use. 🤷‍♂️

That being said, hopefully in the months ahead we'll see some added content (all payware, for sure).

They confirmed that Pathos III will be returning in the February update.
Hopefully it's not the only Planco 1 ride that will return in that update.

I think it's the only flat ride we are getting in February. The other new ride is unthemed coasters. But there is another new ride in March which is not known yet.
