Just you wait until you realise that if you have not got the credits to pay for a taxi from the prison ship, you are literally in a game over situation unless you switch to Horizons.

The active ship should really move with you to jail. It would solve both isues.

Well... It wouldn't solve the "active ship" design problem, but yes, it should move your ship to jail with you, that's even how it was supposed to work, Frontier might even think it does work like that, they didn't know notoriety was deactivated for on foot gameplay before update 6 and we're all "Huh? We didn't change anything... It was always like that, weird guys..."
