Same problem. It only applies to the legacy Horizons cosmetics, I can equip Odyssey cosmetics just fine. Anything with that weird "Elite Livery Template Virtual Product" text under its name in the bottom right is broken.

Call me a noob, but it doesn't seem like you can change clothes in the holo-me on your ship, you can only change clothes at the station kiosk in public, in front of everyone - because that is the most normal place to do it.

If this is a unique problem to that specific set, my apologies.

I'll continue to use the kiosk changing room.

You change your cosmetics in the lap panel, number 3, loadouts. You can change suits, guns and all the bits of your outfits there.
