I can't load my Franchise Savegame anymore

Hello everybody,

on Wednesday I played my franchise zoo savegame and the moment I tried to place a stone, the game crashed. Since then I can't load this franchise zoo anymore. I can create new franchise zoos, but I can't play my laboriously set up zoo.
Does anybody have/had the same problem and know a solution?

I have opened a support ticket but have not received a reply so far.
I don't want to start a new zoo. That means that I can't play this game right now.

HELP!!! :*(

I had this problem yesterday. A lot of others have had it too... No solution that I've found..
Someone said it might be to do with the amount of guests in a zoo? Over 2000/3000 and it can't handle it by the sounds of it.
I hope they fix it so we can get back into them I really do..

If obviously many people have this problem, it would be great if Frontier would react on it. My ticket is now almost 72 hours old and I would like to have an answer.
I have a huge lion breeding with lots of golden lions (puppies) and I would like to have them back or at least the adequate number of CC's.

Yea I know what you mean. I had about 5 baby gorillas for the challenge as well. If we close the zoo's you apparently get the CC for the adults, but nothing for the babies. I haven't tried that myself though.

I'm scared to make a franchise zoo too big now so I'm constantly restarting which isn't the best. Means I can't go all out and make the best and biggest zoo I wanted.

I had this issue, delete the most recent file (if you have previous saves of the zoo) and then load it up.

You lose some progress but not your zoo.

If also does some weird things, like I had sold some African Buffalo that had matured but when I loaded it up again it put a different calf in the exhibit....so I got to sell another animal...not all bad.

I cant load my franchise either. 😥

But I do not think it is due to the zoo size. It has been a large zoo with more than 5000 guests for the last 4-5 days and I was able to load and play just fine.

I didn't realise there were different saves for franchise? Is that in the actual computer files. I looked in the save games once it's loaded up but just kept taking me to the franchise zoo menu and opening the same.
I'll have a look.

Hmm, not sure.. maybe size relevant to PC specs? Maybe the PCs can't handle X amount of guests? My specs sit somewhere between minimum and recommended.

Might be... but my Laptop really is not that good...

Ive got:
16 gb ram
i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz processor
geForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card

I was even surprised I at how smoothly the game ran on high graphic settings 🤷‍♀️

Go to my zoos in the main menu and it lists all zoo saves. Then just delete the latest game file (if you have back ups) and hopefully the next one loads.

I discovered this too ... after logging in and my prize Cheetah dropping dead from stress within seconds I thought id reload the earlier save game... but no It wouldn't and It looks like you cant have multiple save games anymore in franchise mode, it also looks like you cant exit without saving either.
