I can't help you I'm afraid I haven't logged in or updated for yonks, but at least you know we're not ignoring you.
I'm sure someone with a brain will be along soon, and usually you get a solution or others with the same problem indicating a system failure or something.

Can you provide more information? Did you buy the game via Steam or directly from Frontier Development's website? What error messages does the game produce? Do the problems occur when you start the launcher or after you press the "PLAY" button on the launcher? Etc...

Maybe the Frontier Support Knowledgebase has useful info.

Using the EXACT same process you used the first time?
Got all the FACTS concerning your account identity sorted?
Is it a Steam version, and hence possibly a Steam login problem?
Can you get to the official Frontier Store and identify yourself as an active account? (to test).
