Is this intended? A bug? Is there a way to fix this? I had no idea that I was missing these pictures and was always confused when I watched the occasional yt video and saw npc faces and the like in stations or any kind of interaction.
I can't see npc pictures or even myself in the station/codex or anything when in vr

Works fine on my Index. Do you get these images correctly when you load in pancake mode?

Hah, I honestly can't recall if I ever had them in flat mode, not sure when they were ever introduced, last time I played flatscreen was years ago.
Hmm, yeah I launched in pancake and still saw black boxes, ugh, hmm.
Well, at least you now know that it is not a VR problem. Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers etc?
It's been like this for awhile now, guess I just need to uninstall and reinstall, which is odd since a integrity verify doesn't give any issues, bleh.
Ok so, uninstalling and reinstalling the game did nothing to fix it, I don't have any idea as to what I could do to fix it.
My drivers have always been up to date.
