I could fix a number of annoyances with a text editor...

Anonymous / Anonymity Protocols. What even is this? If I could easily access the text in ED, I would replace this with "Restricted Access" and / or "Station Privileges Suspended". The former makes it sound like I'm using a VPN or fake ID to hide my identity (which makes zero sense since the station knows I owe them fines), where the latter makes total sense - the station is not going to service you or your ship until you pay your fines.

That's just one example where Frontier's poor choice of words makes for a confusing mess. I feel pity for the people who bought the game this week and are trying to make sense of it all. Another example is materials. Again, give me access to the text files so I can change "Palladium" to "Iron" in the commodity section and "Iron" to "Uranium", "Zinc" to "Palladium", etc in the materials list. Then it makes sense why I have to go out and harvest my own materials, because of course Uranium would be restricted and iron would be purchasable at the "hardware store", you know, like real life.

I know, I know, these are just words, and I can "pretend" that I'm harvesting palladium and that "Anonymous Protocols" actually reads "Station Privileges Suspended", but still, it's really, really annoying! And if you don't think words are annoying, well then don't get annoyed at this post, because it's made up of "just words" after all :p

It has made me wonder how, if I have notoriety, would an anonymous login not circumvent this? Certainly agree that either the station knows who I am, and can pay off fines (not anonymous) or doesn't know who I am and they can't assign a previous criminal record to me and I can't pay off the fine.

This is like those times in films set in the 1800s and a shot pans past a town with tv aerials on the rooves. Doesn't impact the plot or the acting, but it doesn't sit right.
