I demand a full refund.

I demand a full refund for my console game version. You all clearly deceived the console player base. I will also be recommending a full boycott of all Frontier games to every community I am a part of and to every ayer I know. This is beyond ridiculous. I hope one of these players finds a way to shut you down. Star Citizen here I come.

According to the Xbox refund policy:

  • Refunds are only available for 14 days after the game’s purchase date
  • You cannot ask for a refund if you played the game for more than two hours across all of your accounts

I don't think they owe console players a refund as you paid for horizons and will continue to get that content. However, Frontier should provide console players with Elite on PC and a means of transferring their account in full. I get your anger as I used to be a console player and had the frustration of dealing with poorly optimized, half-hearted ports of games where the vast majority of the player base was on PC. While I think Fdev should have made this statement sooner, it was pretty clear Odyssey was never going to run on 4th gen consoles such as the Xbox One and PS4 given Odyssey's relatively poor optimization and old age of said consoles.

Also, Star Citizen is PC and has its own slew of bugs and issues that somehow make Elite look polished.

See, FDev have (probably accidentally) been quite lucky, here.

By keeping development of Odyssey low-key for a long while, unless you bought the console version of ED within the last few months it's going to be kind of difficult to insist that you only bought it on the understanding that you'd get space-legs to go with it.

I think it'd be a great idea to offer console players a free PC license for Horizons, though, as a gesture of goodwill, in the hope of encouraging some console players to stick with ED.

If your PC can run Star Citizen, then you can easily run Odyssey too. I get the frustration of people who only have a console to play on, but given you have a high-end PC (if you plan on buying SC), I'm not sure why you were on console in the first place.
I don't have a PC yet. This is just one more reason to leave console and FDev behind.

How many hours do you have in game can I ask. Also when did you buy your copy of horizons?
