Currently, in Elite, I'm navigating Sidney The Sidewinder back to Borscht from The Little Old Lady From Pasadena's place.
Sidney has gotten his round of Level 1 upgrades, and is about 10% better, all around.
But, this weekend, I had a terrible choice to make:
1) Make the Umpteen jumps in Sidney back to Borscht from Decait.
2) Make real-world overtime money, desperately needed for teeth, glasses, and orthopedic shoes by working two overtime days, Saturday and Sunday.
I chose the real-world money. Plus, I worked through lunch today as well. Boss sent an open congratulation email for fixing our metrics. By myself.
I feel sooooooo dirty and degraded. I have betrayed Elite.
It's worse than having to go mining, so I can grind the Level 1 upgrades. The Level 2 and above upgrades mean carrying materials that are instant portals to rebuy screens.
I am *such* a scrub and slacker.
How shall I expiate my dishonor?
