I died. Where is my ship??

I flew a Dolphin into CD-51 2650. I landed at Clough Base. I switched to a Sidewinder. I flew to a surface base ...and died.

I was transferred to a prison ship. I took an apex shuttle back to Clough Base. I cannot board my ship there.

I google, and it says you have to recall your ship. So okay, I go out on the surface. It says "ship not in range." I have to be on the right planet?

I don't remember exactly which surface base I was raiding. The only ship icon is the Dolphin at Clough Base.

Again, the only ship icon is the Dolphin at Clough Base.

Where is my ship? How do I get back on track?

Here are screenshots if you don't believe me. The only ship icon is on the planet I've already tried to recall my ship at.

I think your Dolphin will be at Clough base but it's not the active ship. You'd have to go Inter Astra and select it as your active ship. The Sidewinder will most likely be at the prison ship. The emergency option also sound like it's worthwhile trying.

BTW, happy to see that someone is still enjoying CD51-2650!

My guess is because your sidey is still on the planet where you died. You have to pay to transfer it to the prison ship first. (I may be wrong, since I haven't been sent to prison on foot before).

To be honest I think the whole system is buggy, hard to understand and messed up! I try to avoid it by not dying :)

You ought to be able to order your sidewinder to be transferred to you by Inter Astra too.

Yes that sounds reasonable. Probably taking an APEX to the point of death and then recalling the ship would work. Or maybe not if it's no longer the active ship..

Otherwise I think setting the Dolphin as the active ship and transferring over the Sidewinder ought to get both ships back to Clough base.

The sidey was a choice at inter astra. Oddly, even though the dolphin was there at that base, it wasn't a choice.

This whole thing was so frustrating that I don't even want to play anymore.
