I Do Have the Impression I'm Not Well Liked Around Here.....

Especially by Frontier-Developments, as I had problems logging into my account so, I could post on the forum and reinstall the game after switching computers.

I almost succumbed to crying myself to sleep, but stubbornly kept it together while I stayed awake.

Although, I now fell moved to ask for my money back and even more money for pain and suffering.

I'm rightly compelled to let them know how I feel about this if it was intentional and might withhold some of my valuable insight until the perpetrators reveal themselves and are put in their place.

There was something I've been meaning to tell everyone here about how the Milky-Way has been looking, As it's been graphically realised in game.

Something that's not much different from the brown residue you'd find inside of a soiled baby's nappy after it's had the excess removed and been thrown into the bin. Not that I've had a lot of personal experience in this area and would like to look as such things myself, but I guess you could just put his down to a spontaneous mind-link with some post pregnant mother.

I've been tempted to give it the name.....

Muddy-Way....or The-Big-Brown-Stain or The-Big-Skid-Mark!!!!!!

There were a few more names I had for it, but they are now forgotten. I should really write down everything as soon as it poops into my head.

Weeks early, I even went so far as to compare the look of space when the opening Titles appears after the game boots up.

There is a lot of brown-stuff I notice floating around. Stuff... I don't want clinging to the outer-hull and canopy of my ship. I feel moved ask somebody to lick it off.... if it ever sticks.

Otherwise, it could be just spilt coffee.

They haven't attempted to change this at all since I mentioned it and now it seems all the more intentional.

Space is dusty, mate. Could be spent nappies or yeah coffee cannisters.

According to Douglas Adams, the single-most important reference on all things spacey, it is likely to be the foam pellets used to cushion things shipped in large boxes. That's what Dark Matter is made of.

:D S

Swings and roundabouts mate. You might not like it, but others will be fine with it. (Myself included) expecting FD to change something that's not to your personal aesthetic taste at a moments notice is a little presumptuous is it not?also, the background has improved since premium beta. Personally, I would assume the backdrop is a low priority for them compared to other issues, which is as it should be really.

They tend to go for stimulation rather than simulation in most of those Sci-Fi movies I guess. The universe will probably not accept change, based on individual preferences. That is just how it operate. ;)

When I look up at the milky way in real life, there is a brown skid mark either side of milky central part.

Im sure its safe to say that FD can do whatever they want to the game and you will still play regardless.

Let's cut down on the imagery a bit, shall we? ;)

I also don't like the silly space dust (there is dust in real space, but nowhere near this much - the vacuum of space is emptier than the best vacuum that can be achieved on Earth with modern equipment) and hope to see a change down the line...

I recall that David has talked about how the dust presence has undergone several iterations, and they've adjusted the dust levels so that the night sky matches our known observations. I recall that he was surprised at how high those levels needed to be.

Anyway, I'm sure they'll continue tweaking throughout Beta. I'm pretty happy with how it looks right now.

It looks pretty awesome to me and I love all the space pooh and big meteor thing-a-me-bobs, they are cool

... anyway you live in Ipswich and from memory that is a very brown town :D
