I hope when your washing machine, TV and fridge stop working, you get then fixed rather than buying a new one.

My washing machine has been struggling for years with a regular boot applied to get teh control panel working. :D

But, I don't think I'll be getting a Iwatch, the motorola one loks ok though.

I don't wear watches because I find them uncomfortable. Would love to have one, but I just do not get on with them.
On the other hand <groan> I am uncomfortable when not wearing one.

[snip]

Tracy phones would be cool, but in reality I think you would look a bit of a twit talking to your wrist! :p

LOL how many twits are out there talking to fresh air? ;)

My kids often pick me up on wandering about the house muttering to myself, so maybe one of these watches might be for me after all. :D

I also feel weird without a watch on my wrist.

They will all be fixed on the extended warranties we were sold with them. Apart from the telly which I want to die so I can get another 360Ps to make the picture slightly better.

PS I lied about the warranties. And the telly, a bit.

I think they are pretty gimmicky at the moment, but there are a few nice features I.e the ability to track a misplaced phone in the house, voice recording etc

But Apple are a bit late to the party, other makers have been on this for the last year.....

Guess this gives Apple the opportunity to 'learn' by their mistakes and make out it was their idea all along ;)

I was listening to an old podcast the other week talking about the imminent launch of the iPad. The hosts were talking about how many commentators thought the product would be a flop and served little or no purpose. Maybe we're just missing the point and are about to be shown the way forward.

Well I bit the bullet so to speak and decided to order one.

Looks good on the wrist.

I'd put my money on that being the case. I expect Apple have done their research.

I have a mechanical self-winder. Got it just a couple of years ago mainly because it doesn't share points of failure with my phone and will never need a battery.
