I don’t get the point of the viewing domes

I see all this hype and I feel like they are overrated. The view is severely hindered by the railings to a point that makes them seem pointless much of the time. I noticed the JP viewing towers have this issue too. What is it with Frontier and making these god awful viewing perspectives? Did ANYONE look at either of these before finalizing them?

The bar is less of an issue if your guests are visited by a sauropod - or any large dinosaur they would have to look up at. To be clear, I don't disagree with you. However, with the dome as-is, it still has use. It's also particularly useful in an aviary.

Personally, I wish that the dome can be placed in lagoons...

Now for the railings blocking the view, maybe we can have an option to raise/lower the camera to view the animals
That’s exactly what we need. I really don’t get the point of them as is. For large animals I just use a fence since guest viewability doesn’t matter in sandbox and you can see them through the fence. It’s the smaller animals I’d want to use a dome like structure to be able to see them well. But as is the domes provide very little value in terms of viewing animals in first person mode. This is true to an extent even for the larger carnivores since the railing often block the feeder from view. They should just give us a non-rail option or the option to move the camera up and down.
