I Don't Know What To Do...! Again!

I've been galavanting around beta for a couple of weeks now. Lovin' it so far, but there's literally no point trying to progress, because, well it's beta and it'll all be gone soon™...

But playing live now feels very drab, almost everything feels "old" and I want to go exploring, but I just can't deal with 3.2's system anymore. Lol
So I need beta... but there's no point.
Evil circle of doom!

Annoyingly, Star Citizen is going to be free to play for a week. On Friday for a week. My girlfriend and I will be on holiday from work for a week too. But if I decide to spend our 10 year anniversary playing Star Citizen, I'll probably not live to see the 11th. Or 2019. Or probably even December. Lol

As for other games... I've either completed them, or gotten bored of them.
Can't afford any new ones.

All I can say is...
Meh.

And hurry up and release 3.3!! :p

I often get these "pre-update blues", and I usually end up finding an all new, or old game to keep me entertained, then often completely forget about the latest release for several weeks/months.

Hmmm... What's new on Origin I wonder!

Have a crack at something a little different like "the swapper" "transistor" or some other wee cheap indie game. Really atmospheric and interesting stuff. Play "Inside" if you haven't already!

I'm dying to get back out into the black but I know I'll have a free slot after 3.3 drops so I want to take advantage of that first. I've been in the bubble for a week and it's killing me

I found something to do!

I've been engineering duplicate modules in my Krait Mk2, so my Phantom can get a near instant upgrade on launch!

Although, I still haven't decided if I want to take the Phantom or Mk2 out exploring yet... Lol

Why are the mods a whole update ahead of everyone else?

Whats the future like Bongo!? Tell us!

I know I will do some Alien hunting in the new CZones tomorrow... my Krait is ready and waiting for the patch to hit.

Maybe try the same?

'Playing' Star Citizen is a bit of a stretch at any rate.

Are you planning on getting a new ship, or swapping out some ships once the Beta ends? If so you could busy yourself getting modules and resources? Maybe even fit them to other ships and pre-engineer them?

Pay the Guardian sites a visit? Have you unlocked any of their old tech? If you have, is it all of it?

How about repairing a few stations, or popping a few scouts?

There are always CGs.

1. CQC is really cool, reminds me of my Unreal Tournament days.
2. Anachronox is a very very strange old (2001?) RPG that is as wacky and as sophisticated as A Hitchhiker's Guide. It's the usual dystopian science fiction, but it is terribly silly and utterly charming with little yellow round chubby spaceships and stinky socks. It takes a while to get into, but gets better as you go on. You can get it on GOG for a pittance.

Guys what are you complaining about ?! :p

I'm on PS4...no BETA for me. Just teasing from screenshots / videos of PC players.

I already bought / engineered all the modules I need for my exploration Phantom and actually testing the loadout on my Krait MKII during my last pre-3.3 exploration trip.

Can't wait to see the new lightning, try the new exploration FSS, CODEX and discover the new anomalies !!!

I'm still playing Fallout 4 when I need to take a break from ED. Tried FO76 and if you think this game is a grind fest. Go check out that pile.

As soon as Mech Warrior 5 and Cyber Punk come out you wont be seeing me for a while...lol

Housework.

In-game (3.2) housework I mean. Stockpiling money and mats, unlocking modules not yet unlocked, obtaining permits for permit-locked worlds on the off-chance they might have interesting POIs when 3.3 goes live.

Not the greatest fun, I know. But it'll leave more time to explore the new stuff when 3.3 goes live.
