I didn't do a lot of them, but, back in the day, if you were running freight, you were running biowaste... And dealing with those scat pirates.

I remember that somebody did a hilarious video on scat pirates, sadly, it appears lost to time.

Pick up from Ceos/Sothis, then a few hundred LY's back to the bubble for drop-offs in agricultural systems using a T9 or Cutter. You'd have at least 5-6 pirates chasing you, demanding to have a taste of 500 tonnes of biowaste... A few hundred million credits per run. I think we all begged the devs to change the NPC comms :ROFLMAO:

@grandpa-t, it would be a miracle if the devs changed those NPC comms.

I always get frustrated to myself when immediately leaving a starport with cargo there's a pirate saying some crap like, "I've come a long way" and "glad I found you first" Like the damn imperials or fednecks literally sold my ship info the second I undocked to every pirate within 100ly... and there's no recourse!!

did you think the pilots federation exists to defend the galaxy against piracy like it was chartered to do? silly.

they rank the pirates too, so they must be members. the pf is the most obviously corrupt organization in the game and makes no logical sense for holding the insane power it has nor why it wouldn't leverage that power to just become the primary governing body for humanity.

so selling your data to pirates makes as much sense as anything else we see.

They seem to be attracted by the canned humans, erm, I mean occupied escape pods, I often find myself carrying... Protein is Protein I guess... lol.
