Newcomer / Intro I don't understand bounties issued against me

I have a 1500 Cr bounty against me (from Colonia Citizen's Network) on my Transactions panel in my ship. It also says there is a Warrant against my ship. I'm Wanted status in the Tir system, where I got killed on foot (trespassing) and sent to the Odin's Crag detention facility, paid my fines and was released. I have zero Notoriety. When I go to the Interstellar Factor to pay off the Bounty it says I have no bounties or fines. So why does the transaction panel show one? How can I get rid of it? I can't select "Hand yourself in" on the station contacts, that just says No Bounties Detected. Huh? I'm confused.

A bit difficult in tiny Colonia, CCN is pretty much in EVERY system and there aren't many IFs. Why can't I hand myself in?

Also, when I checked out of the detention facility it said I'd paid all fines and bounties, yet they were still there.

I must admit I find multiplicity of bonkers, illogical "crime and punishment" systems utterly tedious. Why you can't just pay your dues at a detention facility after being "critically injured" or handing yourself in is beyond me.

There's something not quite right with bounties and fines at the moment. Sometimes you need to relog to have them recognized by IF or station services before you'll be able to pay them, sometimes they remain on the list of fines, even if you paid them, until you relog.

It's probably a bug but FDEV has not confirmed that. Anyway, that's how it works in Odyssey at the moment. Don't know what else to tell you.

I was in a team of 3 doing the same activities as each other as a team. We all got fines and bounties. The other two players were able to pay off their bounties/fines at an IF, but mine were never listed by the IF no matter which one I visited in any system up to 200LY away from where I got them, though they still showed in my transactions. Eventually I stopped playing Odyssey because I hated it and went back to horizons. The fine and bounties have disappeared from my transactions, but the fine still shows on my ship in the ship transfer system. When I use the ship, I don't get the fine listed in my transactions nor does it show when I visit an IF, so no chance to pay it off. I suspect that if I go back to Odyssey, the bounty is still there, but no point in checking.
