I’m in desperate need of help right now. I got sucked into the exclusion zone of a neutron star jet and my ship is all but dead. Multiple reboot and repairs and the fsd won’t come back. Is there any chance to survive this? I can synthesize life support for a good while but if there’s no point I’ll save the mats. Hull at 49%...




Update: Turned the game off at 3% hull. Im expecting to log into a rebuy screen next time but if not Ill try again. Thanks for the replies and suggestion!

Final Update: Died but at least I got some dramatic footage.

Try deactivating everything but thrusters and FSD.
And then keep rebooting, I once got out there with 10% hull an air for 3 minutes.

Don't know what to say, I hyper-jumped into a white dwarf jet when this the cones were first brought out, fought bravely, then and watched helplessly while my python was destroyed.

32% Hull... I actually had the fsd charged and thrusters on but it wouldn’t align with the escape vector. I’m not giving up just yet.

It can be done, but it is beastly difficult.
Popped a Beluga out of a White Dwarf once - seems easier to low-wake out than High-Wake, but maintaining that alignment for the RNGesus number of seconds to actually engage... well.. that's the challenge I suppose.

Try boost when your fsd is charged. Boost can give you temporary manoeuvrability (like 2 secs or so... enough to align)
