I enjoy the game, that's why I play it.

Yes I also wonder why people tend to make statements like "I am rage quitting ED because..."

Some features might not be ones cup of tea, but others...

I love ED and its actually the only one game I play due to limited time. Most of my ingame encounters with other commanders are pleasant, cooperative and funny.

I love it and hate it in roughly equal measure.
My love of the game and the community that surrounds it is counterbalanced by my hatred of some of the mechanics and the problems around those. On the whole I'm looking forward to 2.2 as I'm looking forward to the new ships and missions and being able to store stuff at last.

I've "rage quit" 3 times since Premium Beta, twice out of boredom with the grind and once out of fury over repeated interdictions and ship loss, but I always come back, and to be honest it's pretty much the only thing that gets booted up on my PC these days.

There are two types of people who post on gaming forums:

- People who are at work and wish to remain connected to the game they love via its community. I do this a lot as it can get pretty dead where I work at times.
- People who are unhappy all the time and would rather share that than play the game itself. Aka cry for attention.

Happy ED players don't post on the forums when they are home. They are too busy playing the game.

This game is like my cat. Bloody annoying at times, but I still spend a lot of time with her.

E: D has some basic flaws in its current iteration, but is still a fantastic game.

The exploration is what really won me over the most. Why I count the days to when FD show off, and release planets with atmospheres, and so on.

if you enjoy playing it, you are obviously doing it wrong :D

i personally don't think, the forums are "negative" - they are heated, they are passionate - which tells me more about dedication and involvement into the game.

I stopped playing for a while as I got bored of grinding for a 'conda, but came back when I realised, you know what, I don't actually HAVE to grind for a conda, bought myself an Asp and started smuggling. Just sold my stored Type7 and got a Python built for trading too and I love to fly it. Now considering which ship to get for RES farming. I love to set myself these little goals. Going to get a lorg-range exploration Asp as well, I think, and go and marvel at the Orion Nebula closeup. Thinking of getting myself a Rift for my birthday too :D

Loving being back in the game, can't believe I stopped.
