Just before Christmas I was getting a little bit fidgety and bored. I was hearing all about the expansion into Colonia and it was pricking my interest.
Then suddenly the CGs started to encourage emigrating to Colonia. I thought that this was my chance to do something interesting. I'd never really left the bubble before and I kitted up a shipped out.
I won't lie, I loved making the long trek. In between real life and everything else I put a few hours in here and there. It took me about 3 to 4 weeks to make the journey. I had kinda decided that I had no reason to go back to the bubble.
The next 4 months that followed up to today has slowly but surely irritated me.
I'm not sure what i was expecting, but if I had known that the CG was going to repeat over and over, I wouldn't have bothered to get across in what for me was a hurry.
What really really bothered me was that Frontier knew damn well that idiots like me were just about to miss out on some of the biggest revelations the game had ever seen.
Aliens, Formadine, ancient ruin quests, enhanced engineering options for less grind, etc.
I've been waiting over four months now wondering what the hell the point was in stoking up so much Colonia migration excitement, knowing time strapped players were just about to lose out big time.
Can i be bothered making another 4 week trek back to the bubble. If I do will I miss out on something exciting in coming up in Colonia.....Soon, not so soon?
Colonia feels pretty empty at the moment. I can't possibly think why!!!!!
