I feel like Im the only one who misses herbivore feeders.

I love all the new Paleobotany plants as decorative plants. But I dunno, I guess I just prefer the old simplicity of placing down some herbivore feeders for my dinos the eat from. It also made it way easier to decorate an enclosure to my liking in terms of trees, water, or rocks. And they were a lot more useful for creating gathering points for my herbivores to go to

you're not alone.
In order to meet the needs of some herbivores, almost the entire enclosure must be covered with forage plants. In the sandbox it doesn't matter if you turn off the comfort, but with the option on, it's actually impossible to create really nice enclosures, since almost the entire floor has to be covered by plants.
Then there is the fact that if you have several species in an enclosure, it doesn't seem to make any difference in which corner of the enclosure you plant the appropriate plants, since the dinosaurs, despite e.g. have a need for fruit, but also eat all other types of plants that are not decorative.

So to be honest I'm even for several different plant food dispensers. one for each type of plant and these can then really be used accordingly by the species that prefer certain ones. And maybe one that simply combines everything and that all species like to use 😁

Not to mention that it's pretty unrealistic on the snow and desert maps if there are tropical plants growing out of the ground everywhere...

I like the current element of Jurassic World: Evolution 2. Originally in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, Dino Nerds prefer seeing herbivores eating plants and not wanting to see buildings especially food dispensers in their enclosures. Do you have any idea how costly it is to feed herbivores in the Jurassic World era in Jurassic World: Evolution 1? In Jurassic World: Evolution 2, planting paleo-flora is cost efficient and it does enhance authenticity in the herbivore exhibits.

I feel this issue would be a lot less noticeable if there was a much higher variety of vegetation to put in enclosures. And also more control of the density of ground cover to tall plants.

As it stands now, I definitely see your point.

Herbivore enclosures can feel jarring and out of place sometimes - pointing to having to use desert and tropical fruit plants in Canada. No. Just no. As someone who lives there and tried to grow a small palm tree outside ... No.

I couldn't agree more, I feel like they are so important. Everytime i disable the food needs of my herbivores they just walk on the border of my exhibits in a robotic way and it annoys me. In JWE1 it wasn't the case...

we were all of game 1 asking for the feeders to be removed and now that they're done we're asking for them to come back. It is definitely very difficult to please customers nowadays. we get tired of everything. and we want what we don't have

Everything has pros and cons. Adaptability is what matters.

In Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, paleo-trees have to be re-planted when bigger herbivores deplete them from eating them.

Personally, I prefer planting paleo plants in herbivore exhibits in Jurassic World: Evolution 2. If there are Dino Nerds in this game, they will be impressed. Furthermore, we do not have worry about re-planting the paleo plants as they will never be depleted.

I'm all for the option of having either paleofeeders like Claire's dlc, and/or normal herbivore feeders. Having a whole enclosure covered in prehistoric plants just annoys me. Sometimes I'm all about the looks.

I don't know if they'll be able to bring it back but it's a wish. So this way we can have both options of paleobotany and regular feeders as an option. And if they don't bring it back in this game we can always ask Frontier to develop Jurassic world Evolution 3. That's if Universal allows it.

Honestly, Dino Nerds prefer seeing paleo-plants over feeders in herbivore exhibits.

The territory decay system have been causing the herbivores to lack food coverage. For example, just as I have fulfilled the Chasmosaurus' need for ground leaf. Overtime, its need for ground leaf is not met.

The territory decays system has to be removed so that the herbivores can meet their environmental needs.

I also miss the Greenhouse building/mechanic system too. It brought in a new challenge which added more to the game and variety. Ofc, I like what we have now, but it was a real fun way to keep things moving in Evolution 1...

Instead of having one or the other, maybe we can have the feeders and Greenhouse back as a way to bring back actual extinct Palaeoflora but make it so these can add further nutrition to the Dinosaurs. Therefore, increasing life expectancy and maybe appeal even further than it did before...

It would be a nice way to negate using or compensate using the genetic traits on the life expectancy of the species to use for something else like tolerance.
