I feel like there should be something else to spend the conservation credits on?

They're such a good thing to build up as it promotes conservation etc. but I feel like there should be some sort of perk store or something else we can spend them on for our hard conservation efforts? At the moment I feel like I build thousands of them up yet the odd animal here and there costs me 30CC, making the value of them feel worthless
