So far I mostly only carried an Advanced Discovery scanner with me in the human space bubble while trading and stuff. I've only been out 200ly once for a CG. Now after reaching trade Elite and irritated by the buggy 1.3 release I set out for the first real trip. Currently about 500ly out in the Coalsack area with the general direction of crossing the beta quadrant towards gamma. When I pull up the map, there's nothing but unknown space. Turning up political view, there's a tiny colorful ball far away. I'm really impressed. Objectively there are no worries. My Asp is a joy and operates smoothly. Nearly no fuel consumption at all going the scenic route and instantly full tank though the A6 scoop whenever I want. Two terraformable waterworlds so far. Will probably stay out for two weeks, then deliver all the data to the current CG.
