Happy new owner here! Still needs A6 FSD but other than that quite happy with the setup. 7C thrusters are quite good on this ship, sure it is not nimble but I wasn't expecting that, this is without cargo, so I have to see how it will behave with ~500 additional tons. Far batter cockpit position than conda and surprisingly not difficult to fly through letterbox

I got mine today after selling my Vulture, cobra and T7. It's a beast to manouver and I'm low on credits but I can see the cash flowing again once a get a bit to buy cargo with. So far I plan to stick with it until I can afford a cutter then I will Do missions to increase my rank.

Try putting it on fire target then targeting the enemy and press your fire button

So that is what the fire button does?[redface] I has assumed that turrets would fire automatically but after my last interdiction I guessed that was what I needed to do. I am only responding to interdictions and I don't hang around for long before jumping out so not a lot of time to trial things.

I have figured out how to use the docking computer more reliably. I find that if I manually fly closer to the station so that the dc doesn't engage boost then it works without problems so far. If it uses boost then it doesn't seem to account for the extra speed when slowing down and can overshoot the slot.

if I loose shields I shut down the boosters.

for trade progression I just went from a Clipper to an Anaconda. No joke. After flying the Clipper I couldn't stand going below 400m/s for only marginal gains (python) with horrendous jump range. My T9 I ran once, and left to a pristine non-populated system.

The T-9 has exactly the bulky utilitarian charm a mining monolith should have.

My T9 claimed its first kill the other night. Only an Asp Scout but it still felt good. However, I will have to think about my approach as I can see that it could be easy to get drawn into a fight and lose when I could have successfully run away.
