I finally broke the seal

I've been playing around with exploration for a while now, without ever really going for it properly. I'd get so far out then feel the need to see a station at the end of the evening.

Tonight it changed. Parked up for the night 1000ly from my home base having discovered a couple of new water worlds en route and feeling inspired, heading along the spiral inwards. The long way round to the core.

In a stripped down hauler.

Feels good.

Thanks guys for the inspiration I've read here and watched on Youtube.

We've all been there, it's a good feeling.
Now just pick a random direction and do another 1000ly the entire Galaxy awaits you.
Good luck and enjoy yourself.

Yay! Another explorer in a Hauler. It's a great ship for exploration and I enjoy it quite a bit (except for those blue collar air vents on the dash).

hauler is a great starter explorer, I used one, itll get you to the T6 in no time and thats an excellent explorer.

Well done, Commander. Once you heed the call of the "Deep Black" its difficult to consider life in "The Bubble" again.

There is peace out here. Majesty...that far exceeds the petty squabbles so common in inhabited space.

Get out there. Explore safely...and beam back all the interesting pictures you can!

There's a truth in that. But my Space Khaleesi needs me.

Mmmmm stations. I think I remember them, whether I remember how to dock is another matter entirely , but it's not something I have to worry about for a while.

The last time I did that, I forgot to turn around, and I'm now 64.5k Ly from Sol. Make you brought enough beer...

Z...

It was watching your Deep Space Surveys that gave me the final push. Thank you!

I do like the Hauler. Reminds me of my old Ford Transit... One day I may go for the T6 but I'm in no rush. I find I like the smaller ships best - I've left a fully tricked out Cobra in dock. No doubt there will come a time when I fancy a bit of the old trading, smuggling (missions only) and opportunistic bounty hunting again, but I think I have found my true calling.

@ Zeeman - I hope my stash of Lagavulin is big enough!

Slàinte mhòr!
