General / Off-Topic i forgot how old i was?

hi, im new here, i'll be honest ive been out of work for 6 mths now, and its really doing my head in, cant find a job anywhere, and im sure the jobs at the government job search site are mostly fake. if your from the uk and out of work you understand what i mean.

anyway, i still have some saving which is good,

but what really bugged me the other day, i woke up and i suddenly thought to myself how old am i? and for the life of me i could not remember my age lol. it took me a good 5 minutes to figure out... oh yeah im 31 DUH!!

i had to count every single year. then again to confirm, because i thought 'hang on, that cant be right'

so yeah, im definitely 31, maybe i should write it down on my hand.

lol.... I spent almost an entire year thinking I was 36 when I was actually 35.

either way am nearly 39 now, so consider yourself lucky.

good luck on the job front. I am facing possibly redundancy sometime between the end of this year and april next year.

Scary as hell, I have been at the same company for 17 years so the thought of interviews etc scares the hell out of me.

Currently trying to teach myself python (programming language often used in science) but its fair to say after so long out of education its proving quite a challenge.

What with full time job and a demanding house, studying as well....... I never knew how well I had it back at uni
