I forgot where I left my ship.

I left my type 6 in a station, bought a viper a few days ago and went to pew pew for a while. It's time to move crap from one place to another again. When I dock at a station it tells me the system my hauler is in, but not the station.

Do I just have to dock at every one until I find it or is there some way to know?

Go to the shipyard, click on "stored ships" - it tells you their location.

Just plug it into your map, set a route, and go get it.

I believe, that in the System Map, you can see which station has your ship at it, it'll have a blue wireframe Cobra icon above or beside it.

Look at the system map, there will be an icon next to the station.

Look at that system map, there'll be a blue icon over your lost lammie's parking spot.

I left my Python at the Wuru system where I bought an Asp and went exploring. But the last time I checked, it said that I stored my ship in Lao Zi, which is my home world where I did most of the trading.
Strange.

Did just the same in the multi storey car park the other day. Cant you just hold up your keys, press the button and see where the flashes come from?

You have to be careful with that. Some car keys cycle codes, and if you press to unlock while the car is too far away to receive it too many times, the key can get out of sync with the car and will no longer work.
