I forsee the #FreeDropship threads

Pure speculation, but it's reasonable to assume that ship multicrew capacity will not change in Odyssey, and you will only be able to transport as many people as multicrew seats your ship has. If you accept this logic, than the conclusion we can draw is that the Dropship will only be able to transport two CMDRs (the pilot, and one passenger). The same amount as the Cobra and Vulture, for example. The Krait Mk.2 & Alliance Crusader both have three total seats. This makes them the only two medium ships capable of transporting more than two total players.

This would explain why the Crusader was used in the recent gameplay video. Rest assured that I am in the process of writing my open letter on the emerging Crusader/Krait Odyssey meta.

On a more serious note, do you think I'm wrong in my assumption? Do you hope I'm wrong? Find out in this latest Odyssey outrage thread.

Maybe because there are no ship interiors (outrage) they’ll just use magic (outrage) and just say this ship takes 5 people, that ship takes more/less.

Passengers won’t see themselves seated in it (outrage) they will just get the pilots view (furious).

I take it we’re talking about carting people about for foot/settlement/combat/outrage missions?

I'm furious and outraged.

Don't think it will change. I have all of one in game friend so haven't been alerted.

Probably reasons too, it might be important for the riding passengers to see the approach as part of their experience. If they were just looking at a loading screen or something because they were in the cargo hold might be less interesting for them. Should extras get a new game space for inside the belly of a ship? Should they just get planted at some external camera? This is dangerously close to ship interiors which frontier have called shut down on for now so probably not.

Yeah, imagine the rage if friend 3+ was the only people who got ship interiors. Lol.

So, why will there be free dropship threads? I don't follow your logic or was I not meant to?
