I found a second Anomaly signal!

While exploring around the Barnards Loop area, I stumbled upon a second anomaly signal.

I'm currently in the Slegao PJ-Q E5-0 system and the signal seems to be coming from somewhere in the Elysian Shore direction, I'm heading out that direction now to see if I can locate the anomaly itself.

Keep an eye (or rather an ear) out.

In this post they mention lense flares and Galnet have refered to the anomaly as a "flare", there are also three flare like things in the image of that post so I have no doubt we'll be seeing a third one appear soon.

Interesting. Your position is 56 jumps for me from the current anomaly system, the rim of Elysian Shore in that direction is 65. I think I can hear it too. I might be tempted to make a journey that way.

It would have been better had you targeted the known location of the current Flare on the galaxy map, than pointed your ship at that target. This would help rule out the current flare as the signal you detected.

My current position is Slegi LY-T B48-0, I think I'm getting close.
The signal is clearer and I seem to be moving on top of it.

I am / was in the flare*s current system. The flare is heading to a different direction.

It would have been better had you targeted the known location of the current Flare on the galaxy map, than pointed your ship at that target. This would help rule out the current flare as the signal you detected.

The video clearly shows me quite some distance away from the current anomaly and facing in the direction of the Elysian Shore, you can see the Heart and Soul nebula.

This is exciting, even though nothing really happens . At least this gives me a reason to take my explorers out. I've made the trip out to the original anomaly (and back to the bubble) area about a dozen times or so .

Interestingly I now note that each system I jump into and scan I now get 2 extra signals in the FSS instead of 1, even in single star systems with no asteroids I now get 3 signals in the FSS with only 1 body.

I don't know if this is just in my area or all over, but I didn't notice it earlier today.

I'm a quarter on the way to the second candiate area, can confirm two extra signals in the few systems I opened the FSS in.

I haved opened an ICARUS terminal and looked at the journal log, it says "Body Count: 1" and "Non Body Count: 2" in a system with only a star in it.

updated my course, 50 jumps. I've seen the "non body count" message in every system so far. Always at least 2, in a few systems 5 and 6.

The one I'm following is currently heading to OOCHORRS SZ-N D7-5 as it just passed by OOCHORRS JE-C C15-0, its target selected is behind me. I turned to the Slegao PJ-Q E5-0 direction (in front of me) and activated FSS, yup. The sound is there and between it and the one I'm currently following there is brief silence when I move FSS around.

I just checked. There are now 2 additional signals in the FSS, instead of just 1 as previously. Interesting.
