The target picture looks like an asteroid cluster. You normally only find them close to stars though :O

You were half right - turns out it was a resource extraction point - but 113000 ls away from anything! I love this game, you can find literally anything.

"Deep Space" will be, well, deep space. Did you mouse click on the galaxy map with nothing else selected? This is usually what happens. It can be useful if you are trying to locate a distant star in a system you are exploring.

At least that is how it used to be. Maybe it has some new functionality in Gamma.


Edit: ah ok. Didn't used to show stuff like resource sites. Guess its new functionality.
