Definitely. I was frozen to my chair when I heard/saw it. I just had to type 'eco friendly'. It must be a VW! Look at those exhaust fumes!That sound still gives me chills.

I'm using a visual mod called EDFX (is not performance taxing) which improves lighting and sharpening of objects to make everything less jagged and more realistic. This is why the galaxy looks very vivid and colourful. I prefer it simply because it gives a 'rebel galaxy' look of colours! Just leaving this reply here for others as well. Also I can't give you any rep since I'm on mobile D:Hahah,

Hi, first of all nice video. Capital ships are one of my favourite parts of the game and its sad many people don't see their glory since their a touch rare.
There's a few visual parts (heat sinks?) of the Capital ship that pop in to the right of the cloud (00:21) which seems to be a bug. Any idea if they are due to the visual mod or a more general graphics bug? Also any idea if it's been reported?

I think it is a bug. I noticed them popping out each time I saw it spawn (off-camera too). Might be my settings or a bug but I can't tell

I remember my first one..yup, definitely a great ED moment. Recently though, one warned me that I wasn't authorised to get so close - a bit cheeky imo - so I disabled it in 10 secs..which kind of diminishes the fear factor a little

The very first time it happened I had no idea what's happening. I didn't even saw her coming.
Just one moment there was this spine-piercing sound, then my ship tumbled and when I looked up there was a HUGE cap ship sitting 100 meters above me. All the more freaky and awesome, though.
First and only time I've seen a capital ship in combat. I switched sides afterwards because President Halsey decided to slaughter innocent refugees and I didn't want to work for her anymore. She's back, crazier than ever so I hear.
