This mouse is a beast. I've never used something so accurate, and it has a pre-made configuration for my Razer Goliathus Chroma mouse mat.

My joysticks cannot compete with the precision my new Lancehead is giving me.

Ambidextrous too, which I've always preferred myself.

Nice weight, and moves easily with lots of control.

Best part? Only cost me £30 thanks to some vouchers I got on Christmas.

Loving it.

Highly recommended.

I've not tried this one yet. I'm a sucker for Razer mice. At least some of them :) Deathadder Elite is the best mouse I've ever used. Actually, I've bought two of them to have a spare. There's always a risk newer editions won't be as good :)

It's a bit more expensive than the good ol' Deathadder, but man is this Lancehead precise. I just can't get over the degree of control I'm getting in FPS.

All in all I'm quite happy having tested it in TF2.

They share the same sensor :) It's one of the best out there. My personal recommendation - reduce liftoff distance to minimum if your mat isn't too soft. Makes it feel even better IMO

Excellent. That explains it. I made a good choice it seems.

Anyone know a way to objectively test a mouse?

I found this : https://www.overclock.net/forum/375-mice/1590569-mousetester-software-reloaded.html

But still trying to interpret the output.

I bought a decent mouse a while back, ended up going for one of the Logitech gaming mice, all the pros seemed to use them and they are bare bones without all the flashy stuffs.

Ended up grabbing a cheaper G203, but would be happy to grab something else if that something else is indeed an upgrade (from an accuracy point of view).

What I can tell you is that on my cloth surface, a Razer Goliathus Chroma, the optical sensor completely outperforms the laser used in the Mamba TE.

I'm not getting the weird jerky moments with the Lancehead.

In my mind, I have no doubt that the mat I use was intended specifically for Razer's optical sensors. It's accuracy is pretty much 1:1.

So yeah, right now I'd definitely recommend either a Deathadder or Lancehead for the sensor they use. I'm pretty sure the Naga Trinity has the same sensor too, if MMOs/MOBAs are your thing.
