I got Bountys ! Who knew

I knew I had a couple legacy fines but before 2.2 there was no way of knowing for sure unless you actually visited the stations and checked. That is a lot of stations. Now I can just check with Interstellar Factors Contact and see who and how much I was a bad boy. Still not sure why I got most of those fines since I didn't know I had most of them

Anyways I suspect others have a LOT more than what I have.

There was a bug in 2.1 which hid bounties on the transactions pane. Fixed in 2.2 so you can see how naughty you were

I only checked quickly in Beta and I think it was a little over 85 million in legacy fines. 40 million of that was at one station.

Not me, I was always careful to pay legacy fines whenever I could. But being able to clear out all the bounties I collected from deadbeat pirates inderdicting me while doing engineering on my ships was great. QoL feature I didn't even think about until it was introduced, great job on that FDev.

I dunno.. I haven't done a whole lot to attract the attentions of The Authorities. Bumped a ship here or there, strafed a System Authority craft in a dogfight, hauled a bit of Lucan Onionhead, loitered around a landing pad after being rammed, maybe scanned a few things I shouldn't have because they were there.

But I've sprouted a few fines and bounties from time to time that I have no idea where they came from, and I wish we could pull up some details about them in the left-hand panel. Like who issued them and why.

Maybe in Update 5.0

I had 50k in legacy fines, but over 300k in bounty vouchers, so that worked out okay. I took the hit on collecting them remotely, since it'd be a bit of a trip out from Jaques to collect them in person.

A month a go I visited a random System.
Don't know anymore if I died or if I checked a contact board or what I had done but I was very surprised that I had to pay several millions bounty in that system.
Who knows what I have done there in my dark ED past.. ( i suspect it was a dormant/hidden left over bounty from my powerplay time )

The majority of mine are from bumbling into stations unaware that the cargo I'm carrying is illegal in that system., and I will pick up a million or so in fines.

Most of the time also, I would of put the docking computer in charge, I will be reading the forum/watching tv and the audio in game turned down, so I will be completely oblivious to the fines I was gathering.

I didn't realise that I'd racked up 95k in legacy fines. More that cancelled out by the 4.4m of unclaimed bounties I was finally able to shift.

2.3 million in fines ? ! What ? Lots of little ones... few big ones. I always thought of myself as law abiding.. mostly. When I was being watched..

Guess that might explain some of the idiot bounty hunters looking me over.

Actually you can't pay fines in all low security, most of them I visited had only "IF Legal Facilities" and "IF Merc Facilities" and none of them let me pay my fines

Zero Fines - almost disappointing

1.7 million in odd bounty vouchers, mostly below 10,000 credits. Finally a clean-up of that transaction tab, yeah!

Anyone else have a mad amount of bounty in Maiki? And not recall what they did there?

I noticed someone in the Beta also had it, I did murder some T9s looking for weapons but not sure where.

I was glad to get a cleanup of all the legacy fines from a trail of accidental smuggling (I had NO IDEA strong drink was illegal in so many systems!) in a nearly-stock Python that wasn't up to proper smuggler docking, or silent running for nearly long enough to matter.

I was a bit startled to see factorage of 25%, though. That's heinous compared to the kinds of deals you can get IRL for even bog-standard debt-book factoring.
