I got the chance to write Planet Zoo Articles, I would love to hear your guy's thoughts

Hey guys,
I recently got to write some Articles about Planet Zoo and I would love to hear some feedback on them. I understand that in a game like Planet Zoo there is not really a "Best" animal as It's all dependent on what animals you want to build for but I tried to use some logic to it, I hope that my articles can be of help to newcomers to the game and are struggling with decision paralysis as to what animals to put in their zoos.

Top 20 Best Planet Zoo Animals from Early to Late Game
Planet Zoo's Best Entrance Animals to Wow Your Visitors

Many thanks,

I think an animal that is going to live by the entrance should be more tolerant of crowds. I woulnd't consider the kiwi or the platypus one of those, but your other options were very solid. Probably the crane and the flamingo instead of those two? Waterfowl ponds are very good for entrances.

If you play Franchise and Challenge modes you may need to check if your animals are shy, neutral, or confident. Any species that isn't confident won't do very well near the entrance unless you use one-way glass and "do not disturb" signs. Sadly the species described as neutral stress out nearly as fast as the shy ones.
Your article about the best animals for the entrance area is pretty good. Nearly all of those species are classified as confident in the game. Only the tortoises aren't. And without the one-way glass, they will be stressed in no time. It's also because they can't quickly hide from the crowds. That's why I wouldn't recommend tortoises before you research one-way glass barriers.
Your first article also makes sense, especially from the perspective of a real-life zoo. But because of how some of those animals are easily stressed it would be useful to disclose that too. For example flamingoes (neutral but mostly shy) lemurs (same) and foxes (shy).

I feel like the game has created a lot of misinformation about the kiwi. Even 'realistic' builders on YouTube are getting it horrendously wrong.

Kiwi are fully nocturnal. The only viable way to display them in a zoo is in a nocturnal house (yes, moreso than many other fully nocturnal species). They are very shy and deliberately hard to spot. Definitely a very poor choice for an entrance animal. If you want to see one in a zoo, you need to be incredibly quiet, and zoo entrances draw crowds.

I agree, kiwi should be shy in the game.
There are several other animals in the game that seem to be in the wrong category too.
