Newcomer / Intro I hate to ask this but...

I am lost as to how to do some stuff, I even read but it is not helping.
I picked up 2 scrap the job said take it to LTT 18486 to Boswell Platform.
Good so far, I have 2 scrap in my ship, I find LTT 18486 and land ,yes you heard right ,landed at Boswell platform about now I am feeling pretty good.
I open commodities window and I can find anyway to make my delivery of 2 scrap, I look around at contracts, i go to the hanger, I try everything I can find and it keeps telling me i have to abandon the job or take it to LTT18486, well I am already there.
How do I deliver the stuff?
This is incredibly not intuitive to me.

The game looks incredible, now if I can learn how to play.

Go to the bulletin board and you should see your current mission listed on the top so you can hand it in.

You open the bulletin board and an option to give cargo should be there on top, separated from other contracts.

OMG! That was just too simple
Thank you very much, I was loosing my mind trying to figure it out. I was expecting ti be dealing with it as a commodity down near the bottom where it showed scrap.
i can see this is going to be fun.

Searching the forums I found the Elite Dangerous Pilots Guide manual Tutorial I see it is 213 pages of info.
I was using the players guide that has 55 pages. Now maybe I'll learn something.
