I have a Idea!

To make combat ranking harder.....

You know how losing your own ship is tallied along with you Player/Npc kill tally.

If your combat rank is at least partly worked out from your kill statistic.

It should be that your loss of own ship tally that is subtracted from your kill statistic so that would slow you progress up the ranks. My L.O.O.S.T. is 168 and my P.N.K.S. is 58. So, I would be well into the negatives with that one and a long way from getting above the rank of Harmless.

Just now, I thought that players/npc's of higher rank are worth more points and those that are same.

No difference and those under.

None at all!

Of course, you still get a bounty, if they have one on their head.

BTW.....ranking could go down if you go into the negatives.

Just my idea though.

If you thinks it's dumb, that's okay.

Kind of like, how experience is rewarded to your character in Age of Conan.
