I have a new puter arriving next week - Keybindings.

Is there a way to copy/export the keybinds/controller settings, so when the new system is installed I can just download the game and put the settings in the right folder?

yes
open explorer type in %localappdata% find the frontier folder and somewhere in there is a folder named bindings, copy the custom.binds I think its called, rename it something snazzy and throw it on a usb drive or something.

I can't give better directions at the moment because I forgot where I found the proper steps.

Thanks for that, very much appreciated. Next question, just looking at the store, it only has options to download the beta files? Is there somewhere to download the latest build or will I have to go through the lengthy patch process?

Recently bought new pc, just downloaded the launcher and the game downloaded in one, fully patched

I just went to store and downloaded the launcher. When you sign in on the launcher you then download the game from the launcher, didn't have to download any extra updates.
