I have a question: how to scan Black Holes in the game?

The scale of the FSS scanner does not show them. On the map of the star system, they are sometimes displayed as a cross, but they cannot be marked on the map or selected to fly to them. Therefore, it is not clear: how to search for their location in the system and how to scan them? And in general: Is it possible to scan Black Holes?

Black holes are treated like stars, so they are automatically "discovered" as soon as you fire the Discovery Scanner (the "Honk"). So once you've "honked", you'll have those black holes. No additional scanning needed (or possible). :)

"Non-sequence star" is, of course, a euphemism for "a long time ago, a giant star exploded, leaving behind a supernova remnant: either a neutron star, or black hole".

I do wish they worded that differently. Since the "non-sequence stars" category just has neutron stars and black holes, both of which are the remnants of dead massive stars, they could have called it "stellar remnants" or something similar. Technically the term "non-sequence" could apply to anything not on the main-sequence, which would include brown dwarfs, giants, and more. With how much they've gotten right, it's a minor confusing annoyance to me that they named it that. ;)
