I have a question regarding prospector limpets.

I've never used them, for better or for worse, instead I just blindly mine rocks & let fate dictate what I find.

I would like to give prospectors a go.

Here's my question. Can a single prospector limpet be used multiple times? If so, how? Or once landed on a rock is that it, and no more prospecting for that drone?

Correct.

they are one-shot.

Aim them, fire them forward. They attach, tell you what is in the rock and double the fragment yield. they expire eventually, but their work is done by then. One limpet per rock.
