I have a sound bug, some are like the boost does not work I hear the voices but some don't
in the kinematics the first at the start of the game with marking odyssey 4 seconds from his game then nothing.
I'm on epic games I launched then on the game launcher option, then validate the game files
but the verification remains blocked preparation for the update off I have already done the update
I stayed 10 minutes without anything happening

Lots of sounds issues in EDO currently (at least for me). I've lost SRV engine/boost and ship engine/boost sounds several times. It's also crashing a fair bit, but as one crash caused the computer to restart, I think it's a little early to blame that on EDO (more likely shoddy AMD hardware!).

Several people have mentioned that the update seems to get stuck in the "preparation of update" stage for a longer period than normal. (One member reported that it took 9 hours for his update to get completed!) If things don't move along then maybe you should raise a support ticket (submit a request) at:

It tends to do that... open the task manager and see if the launcher is still active and what it's doing. In my case, it was battling it out with Windows Defender over disk access.

very well I left the launcher and I went to walk my dog I came back and the verification of the files is done then its to download for 1 hour speed reduced to 150 kbt/s but I don't know what I restarted the game and the sound came back.
I think it must be the epic games launcher that bugs the update that's why I made them directly from the game launcher.
the epic games launcher I did a check but to validate the game files I did not understand?

FWIW, I think there are several issues with sound and some sounds not always playing when they should. Hopefully it'll be fixed at some point in the future..

I don't think I've ever had sounds not play. If I did, I didn't notice. The issue I've always had is the volume of some sounds changing all the time. The cockpit voice is the most obvious. It'll sound like it's very distant on one occasion, then a while later it's very loud and in your face. The engines sometimes do the same thing, but not nearly as much as the voice does.

suggestions
could try playing with the numberworkerthreads value in the appconfig.xml from 0 to 6
in your products folder for cause and effect (as can be down to the way cpu threads things)
else the values in the audioconfig.xml
first I would change the value in the advanced tab of your speaker properties(audio device advanced tab and change the value up then back down just to referesh things ie 24bit studio or try just stay the higher value if all sounds good
obviously weather set to surround or stereo will effect output direction of various sounds and may even prevent some sounds being heard if not setup correctly

I'm having the same issue but I think the sound issues are caused by the opening cinematic. The issue goes away when you jump to the next system. The launcher is also asking me to upgrade again!

I would try checking for driver updates first by finding out who manufactures the sound on your mother board if a dedicated sound card not installed and get the latest driver from them...…...
can the epic launcher or whatever be closed once logged in to eliminate it as a suspect
