So these cats are all mostly PC so they can easily toggle Flight Assist on and off in combat and this is supposedly a big plus. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to be able to do this with an XboxOne Controller?

This. It does make you alot better turning when you master it.
Exactly at first i was over whelmed out how many buttons you have to manage, while fighting or what not but youll get the hang of it really quickly especially if your good at multitasking which you kinda need to be.
